At the Forth Valley Collective, our mission is to provide a supportive and collaborative community for freelancers and entrepreneurs. We know first hand that running a business isn’t always smooth sailing. At times it’s challenging and overwhelming especially when you work alone. Sometimes you need support and encouragement from someone who understands and a community to chat and connect with. That is what the Forth Valley Collective is all about.
Unlike traditional business networking which for us feels awkward and forced, we want to encourage real organic connections that happen at your own pace. Prefer to connect online – join our our Facebook community (launching mid September) or follow us on social media. Or if you like to get out and about – then come along to one of our (upcoming) get-togethers.
After 4 years running a freelance business Claire Cheyne (Wildflowers & Pixels) wanted to create a space for connection and collaboration locally. And the Forth Valley Collective was born.
Forth Valley Collective isn’t just another business networking group we want to be something different. To build a community of like-minded people to share the journey of self-employment.
Running a business is tough. There are highs and lows, moments of incredible excitement along with times of burnout and overwhelm. We want to build a collective of freelancers and entrepreneurs who support and collaborate. Even if it’s grabbing a coffee when you need a break or finding other people to work with to grow your business.
Interested in joining our collective? There are a few ways you can get involved.
We are accepting guest posts for the blog so do reach out if you would like to submit an article. Topics we love are freelancing, business, marketing and social media.
The whole aim of Forth Valley Collective is to be a supportive community of like-minded business owners so join us in our closed Facebook community.
We'll have some events later in the year. Subscribe to our mailing list to be informed.
